According to Greg Johns of MLB.com, the Seattle Mariners have released infielder Josh Wilson.
Wilson was cut two days after his 30th birthday (happy birthday!). He played a career high 108 games for the Mariners in 2010 and hit .227/.278/.294 with two home runs and 25 RBIs.

According to Ryan Divish of the Tacoma News Tribune, Eric Byrnes of the Seattle Mariners has been released.
Byrnes was hitting .107/.265/.179 in 28 plate appearances with Mariners this season. He signed a one-year deal with the Mariners in late January. You can see Byrnes’ statistics here.
