    According to Ryan Divish of the Tacoma News Tribune, Eric Byrnes of the Seattle Mariners has been released. Byrnes was hitting .107/.265/.179 in 28 plate appearances with Mariners this season. He signed a one-year deal with the Mariners in late January. You can see Byrnes’ statistics here.
