    The Tampa Bay Rays have officially signed five players to Minor League deals according to Marc Topkin of the St. Petersburg Times. All the players will recieve invitation to the Major League Spring Training. The players are right handed pitchers Jonah Bayliss and Dirk Hayhurst, outfielder Chris Carter and infielders Daniel Mayora and Ray Olmedo.

    The Tampa Bay Rays have signed outfielder Chris Carter to a Minor League deal according to Adam Rubin of ESPN. Carter was nontendered in December by the Mets to make room on their 40-man roster. The left handed hitter will make $12,000 a month in the minors and $420,000 at the Major League level.
