According to Denver Post’s Troy Renck the Colorado Rockies have signed first baseman Mike Jacobs to a Minor League Deal. Renck adds that Jacobs will make $14,000 a month in minors and $700,000 if in the Majors.

The Toronto Blue Jays acquire first baseman Mike Jacobs from New York Mets for a player to be named later, according to Andy McCullough of The Star Ledger.
Jacobs, 29, is hitting .208/.296/.375 in 28 at-bats this season with the Mets. He is a lifetime .253/.313/.475 hitter with the Mets, Marlins and Royals.

Adam Rubin of ESPN tweets that New York Mets first baseman Mike Jacobs has been designated for assignment. Right-hander Tobi Stoner was called up to take Jacobs’ spot on the roster.
