    The Cleveland Indians have traded left-handed pitcher Kelvin De La Cruz to the Texas Rangers, Paul Hoynes of The Plain Dealer reports.  He was previously designated for assignment by the team to make room for Casey Kotchman.  Jordan Bastian of MLB.com adds that the Rangers will send cash considerations for De La Cruz.     The Cleveland Indians have signed Casey Kotchman to a one-year deal worth $3mm, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports. Kotchman hit a .306 avg in 563 plate appearances for the Rays last season on a minor league deal that paid him $750k.     The Tacoma News Tribune’s Ryan Divish reports that Seattle Mariner’s first baseman Casey Kotchman has refused to be outrighted and has become a free agent. Kotchman was acquired by the Mariners from the Boston Red Sox on March 18 .
