The Colorado Rockies have acquired infielder Chad Tracy from the Texas Rangers in exchange for right-handed pitcher Greg Reynolds, the team announced via Twitter.
The Rockies have also agreed to a one-year contract with third baseman Casey Blake.

The Texas Rangers have invited Tanner Scheppers, Cody Eppley, Jose Felix and Chad Tracy to Major League Spring Training according to Anthony Andro of the Star-Telegram.
Tracy played 69 games in 2010 with the Marlins and Cubs. He hit .247 with 1 HR and 15 RBI’s.

Tracy, 30, hit .250 in 44 at-bats with the Chicago Cubs this season. His expected to share time at third base with Wes Helms. Outfieflder Bryan Peterson was optioned to Triple-A New Orleans to make room for Tracy.
